of Chambhargad Fort
Chambhargad fort is the hill fort which lies in Satara
of Raigad district. The fort of Chambhargad was built to keep the watch
on the surrounding area. On the fort there are two water tanks. Looking at the
condition of the tank it seems that the fort is too old. From the top of the
fort other forts are also seen such as Lingana, Kaldurg (कालदुर्ग) and Songad.
