Nasik has been a real exchange focus and business from very old times. The products from Dahanu port were transported to Nasik by means of Jawhar – Gondaghat – Amboli ghat. Ranjangiri is arranged in the Trimbakeshwar range in Nasik district, built to ensure this route with alongside Basgad, Harshgad, Anjaneri and Bhupatgad (close Jawhar). The pinnacle on the south of the fortification is of the state of a spouted pitcher or "Ranjan" in Marathi.
To reach the highest part, the path is around the pinnacle. The doorway, fortifications and bastions have been totally destroyed. There are 2 tanks in the fortress. To climb the pinnacle, fundamental climbing procedures can be used.
You can reach the fortification by Mulegaon is the base town of Ranjangiri. The street to Mulegaon begins 15 kilometers before Nasik on the Mumbai-Nasik highway. It takes one hour to reach the top from the base.

Harihargad.
Harihargad's name was based on the original name Harshgad. The shape of the fort is a triangular massif with vertical walls and edges. On the fort there are water tanks, couple of caves, a storage house, a pond and a temple.
On the fort there is a small temple of lord Hanuman and lord Shiva. In front of the temple, there is a small pond. That water is used for drinking. Going further there is a palace in which around 12 people can accommodate.
Anjaneri fort.
Anjaneri fort is one of the most important forts in Trimbakeshwar in Nashik city. Anjaneri Fort is 4264 feet high above sea level. Lord Hanuman was born in Anjaneri and spent his childhood on Anjaneri Mountain. The name after god Hanuman's mother 'Anjani' Anjaneri Fort.
Close to Jyotirlinga of Shiva Anjaneri is situated which is having a powerful significance of Trinity, which represents the three faces of Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh. God hanuman is the 11th Rudra of the embodiment of Shiva, the image is Panchamukhi. This image was called as "Sri Panchamukhi Anjaneya Swami" which is famous in South.
Where does the concept of 5-Headed Hanuman come from? The concept was happened during the war between Ram and Ravana in Lanka. It happened when the two brothers Mahiravana and Ahiravana were fighting from the Ravana's side. They were said to be the sons of Ravana.
Bhupatgad.
This is a simple trek and you will achieve the foothills of the fortress inside pretty much half an hour of trekking. After eventually, you will go over an open area (level). There is medium estimated rectangular stone which has stone foot shaped impressions.
You will need to pursuit towards the privilege side of the level as this is barely noticeable. An alternate 30 minutes’ walk will take you to the highest point of the fort.
