History of Jaigad Fort
The gathering purpose of the waterway Shashtri and Arabian Sea is called as the stream of Jaigad. For the insurance of this stream, two fortifications were built, one is Vijaygad at the north bearing and the other is Jaigad at the south. Settled on a precipice, it ignores a straight shape where the Shastri waterway enters the Arabian Sea.

In short, one can say that Jaigad Fort is an old and delightful spot to visit. The principal passageway is after the profound trench. This passage is in the middle of two bastions.
On the highest point of these bastions, government rest house is constantly developed. In the premises of the Jaigad Fort, there is a Lord Ganeshji's Temple, Light house and an old chipped Plateau of overseers of the fortress.

Ganpati Pule
As per neighborhood old stories, the Hindu god, Ganapati, taking umbrage at a comment made by a local woman, moved to Pulé (a couple of km in front of the town) from his unique homestead Pulé.
