History of Sindkhed Raja Fort
It is arranged 32 miles to the south-west of Mehakar, this town inferred its name, it is said, from the ruler Sindurama who is said to have established it. An alternate induction of the name is from Siddha Kshetra, i.e. a town of examples of piety.
On the other hand, it creates the impression that the town presumably got its name from the Sindhi trees in which it proliferates.
MOTI TALAV
It is encompassed by great mango forests. There are two tanks to the west of the town, one of which has a grand brickwork dike and supplies water for watering system purposes to the fields underneath. It is known as MOTI TALAV and by its side now passes the Jalana-Sindkhed Raja Street.
Lakhuji's PALACE
Lakhuji Jadhav's broad castle, the origin of Jijabai, with the exception of its huge entryway of stone and blocks and underground loads, lays altogether ruins. Over the entryway is a drum chamber (nagarkhana).

RANAGA MAHAL
