History of Tahuli Fort

Tahuli goes under areas of Kalyan,Karjat and Panvel. Tahuli can't be called as a fortress. It is renowned for the most part for its three apexes. Heighted apexes and troublesome ways render Tahuli huge one. In any case, the hugeness itself makes Tahuli ignored spot.
At the top we see an Ashram of Gaadge Baba Maharaj. Two more Ashrams are seen on along these lines. The highest piece of the level is called as "Dadimaa Tahuli". Here we see 5 Peer (Islamic blessed spot) and inverse to it, a little house.
Following 2 hours further, by same way, we reach at base of the zeniths. One zenith is called "Daood" and other 'Baman'.Tavli at 2594 ft is an unmistakable gathering of three apexes obvious from Kakuli lake or Badlapur station and is one of the northern most crests in the Matheran mountain ranges.
A level top close to the zeniths is known as 'Tavli' which is associated with an alternate top Badlapur slope through a seat at a stature of 600 mtr.
The ordinary trekking course to Tahuli starts from Badlapur station. The greater part of the courses from Badlapur to Tahuli has numerous edges, streams, little hillocks, and thick backwoods which make this trek testing and energizing.
Amid the dry season water is just accessible at the highest point of the mountain. In the rainstorm, discovering a course is a testing assignment, particularly in the mosquito infested backwoods. The rock patches get to be dangerous and you must be cautious.
Trail Type: Difficult – Exploratory: Long trek through thick woods with missing trail (rather no trail) in the middle. The trail substitutes between thick timberland, green glades and edge stroll with a couple of rock patches.
It is one of the troublesome treks as there is no characterized trail consolidated with undulating landscape and long trek. Implied for accomplished trekkers.
