Past the shrubbery of woods on the edge of the town of Khandepar, profound inside the lush area is the rock-cut cavern sanctuary of Khandepar. A gathering of four genuinely little sanctuaries, the Khandepar Cave sanctuaries were cut out of laterite shake potentially in the tenth century and later changed over to Hindu sanctuaries by the Kadambas.
Regular conviction has it that the sanctuaries were perhaps Buddhist Sanctuaries. Various markers inside the hollows point to both Buddhist and Kadamban causes. Particularly, cut into the roof are lotus emblems thought to be run-of-the-mill themes of the Kadambas while pegs on the dividers of the holes point to a Buddhist root utilized for hanging robes.
The lotus emblems have been followed to the same time the stepped tops were added to the first structure, demonstrating they were structural increases made by the Kadambas. You will likewise perceive decorative breaks in the dividers proposing their utilization for holding oil lights.

Tungareshwar Temple
Photograph edge of Lord Ganesh, Goddess Durga and Lord Shree Ram dangle from the roof divider. In the focal point of the sanctuary is Nandi Bail, the Vehicle of Lord Shiva, sitting enduring as His Guard.
Above Him hangs an immense chime. I rang it to advertise my entry and remained in a line for Darshan, as there was not all that much hurry.
The sanctuary room was little, however, delightfully enriched in Minimalistic works of beautiful glass. On one corner of the room, Diya was lighting and there was little sanctuary of Devi.
In focus there was the Main ling – Lord Shiva, with a Hug serpent in metal looped around it. Bloom, Bil patras, and Bill fal offered by the travelers are scattered around it. A metal post hangs above & water trickles down from it drop by drop over the long.
