At whatever point we discuss the period in which Shivaji Maharaj has a place, we can't overlook those ones who were behind the incredible saint. Shahaji Raje, Jijamata and obviously, Samarth Ramdas Swami.
The spot where Ramdas dwelled after 1649 was a gigantic cave, which came to be called Shivthar (Ghal means natural hollow). This was the place where his popular "Dasbodha" was composed. Embellished by its colorful nature, this spot is justified regardless of going by.
The Mores controlled over the district of Javali where Shivthar Ghal is arranged. This spot is deliberately essential and extremely hard to overcome. These individuals were serving Adilshah, yet even he had no compelling control over them.
Chandrarao was the title given to them by Adilshah. Shivaji Maharaj vanquished them and brought this district under his control in 1648. Ramdas Swami came to live here in 1649 and stayed till 1660. Dasbodha was composed here.
Before progressing on "Dakshin Digvijay", his extraordinary fight in southern India in 1776, Shivaji Maharaj took Ramdas Swami's favors here. For a long time, this spot was undiscovered. However in 1930, 300 years after Shivaji Maharaj was conceived, Shankar Krishna Dev, a prominent devotee of Ramdas Swami, found this incredible journey.
Rising the steps we achieve the building developed by "Shivthar Ghal Shree Sunder math Samiti". The association has given numerous offices to all who result in these present circumstances consecrated spot. They have kept up the holiness of the spot and keep it clean. In the fundamental lobby, we see a representation of Ramdas Swami.
A little well-manufactured way prompts the fundamental cave where Ramdas Swami used to contemplate. This spot is past our creative ability. No words can portray its excellence. A waterfall outside the sinkhole adds to the magnificence of the spot. We can acknowledge why Ramdas Swami picked this spot to create Dasbodha.
On the level over the natural hollow, there are remainders of the castle of Chandrarao More, the sworn adversary of Swarajya. From here we can have a sight of Rajgad, Raigad, Pratapgad and Torna.
