Birwadi is an easy trek which is situated near Murud. Birwadi fort is 1200 feet in height. The fort has very magnificent view of the beaches situated nearby the fort.

History of Birwadi Fort
Mountain starting from Avchitgad (Roha)
floods numerous little forts like Ghosalgad, Talgad, Mangad-Kuradugad

From Roha Birwadi fort is only 18 kilometers.
It was constructed by Chatrapati Shivaji besides Lingana fort to improve
the declaration of Raigad fort. Located on the Pune-Mumbai expressway close to Panvel is Prabalgad fort which was used
as a conditional surroundings by Umaji Naik, a huge warrior.
In 1823, beginning
from the town at the decent footings, on the way towards the fort you can see a
temple of Bhavani Devi. This temple has a roomy yard. In the yard there
are some Cannon. Behind the temple is an excellent 6 feet a statue of Shivaji
Maharaj.
To reach the temple you need to climb 100 steps. When you go further
from the temple, you will go to a Buruj. To the right side of the Buruj
is the way which goes to the fort. On the way, you will discover a cut water
tank named 'Ghodhyache Taake'.
An
important thing
about this fort is, all the Buruj are without the Wall border. On the
rear of the fort is the huge door entrance. You can see a few remainders of old
castles alongside some water tanks on the fort there are few water tanks on
level of fort. Since level is little it takes around 30 minutes to explore it.

Kashid is a beach town on the coast of the Arabian Sea,
in the North Konkan area of Maharashtra, India. It is placed 30 kilometers from
Alibaug and 135 kilometers from Mumbai on the Alibaug-Murud road.
Kashid is famous mostly on account of its white sand,
blue oceans, green mountains and paddy fields. Kashid has a 3 kilometers
stretch of beach put in the middle of two rough hillocks with Casuarina
forests up and down the beach.

There are a couple of little lodgings in Kashid as whatever is left of the

Best alternative to stay in for the long
haul in bungalows maintained by nearby people. It costs 1000 Rs for a room on
weekends. They offer konkani fish thali which is excessively
great.
The waves here are very high and can be a heaven for surfing. The
waves can achieve a height of 5–6 feet actually among the non-rainy
