Sandhan Valley is a hill fort and extremely a hard trek which is situated in Ahmednagar district at the base village of Sandhan. the height of Sandhan Valley fort is 4000 feet i.e. 1219 meters high above sea level.

Sandhan Valley is a wonder of nature
& pearl in the Western Ghats of Sahyadri. Because
of the awesome rainfall in this area, there is a solid river along the hill.
The decayed nature of the water sliding through the rocks for quite a long time
driving the formation of delightful regular caves at Sandhan Valley.
Because of this, in spite of the fact that the stream is 7- 8 feet
wide, at a few focuses we can see rocks standing out together from the upper
side. The Goliath rocks found around the hollows have added to its

From Samrad town inside 10 minutes lies
the valley of Shadows i.e. Sandhan Valley. When we enter the cave the rock

Eventually the wide way disappears
and one needs to pass through deep water. In this part of Sandhan Valley, the river
is 10 feet wide with 150 feet high tides fixes on both sides.
At one point the rock patches begin joining
together to structure lovely common structures. An additional 30 minutes of
trekking brings you to the edge of the valley. From here we can have an
impressive views of various rock organized in a straight line.
In the wake of seeing this wonderful views we begin our adventure to
the base of the valley which takes around 1 to 1.5 hour, on arriving at the
base a we are invited by a 45 feet rock patch standing tall and organized
by time and civic establishments.
Rappelling method is utilized to push
this rock patch. In the wake of completing the process of rappelling, we
proceed with our trip through the rock path, from where again at 2 spots we
discover 8 to 9 feet tall rocks which must be slide used the rappelling

ride will take you to the base town ofAjoba Fort in Dehane Village.

Water is available only during rainy season otherwise water is not available on the fort.

No, shelter is not available on the fort. But around 20 people can stay in the school of Samrad village.

Way from Pune to Sandhan Valley Fort
Pune Sandhan Valley to By Bus From Pune there are ST (State Transport) buses available to Igatpuri, distance between Pune to Igatpuri are 240 kilometers, and then go to Bhandardara by the Igatpuri - Ghoti, from Ghoti to Bhanadardara buses are available. From Bhandardara to Shendi village is only 1 km away, then you can go to Ghatgar colony,which is 22 kilometers from Shendi village, from Ghatgar colony the road to the left will take you to Samrad.
Pune Sandhan Valley to By Train From Pune junction there are trains available to Igatpuri station,Pune junction to Igatpuri is around 240 kilometers, and then go to Bhanadardara by the Igatpuri - Ghoti, from Ghoti to Bhanadardara buses are available, and then follow the same route from Bhandardara mentioned above.

Karoli Ghat
It is a cleanest amongst the most cleanly,

valley once we achieve the lake a 15 minutes walk will take us to the point
where the lake meets the river couch. From here we can leave the river
overnight boardinghouse the hill to reach Karoli Ghat. This course takes
2 to 3 hours to reach Samrad.
In the wake of moving to Karoli Ghat one
can see reproduction of Konkan Kada from Harishchandragad. In the wake
of climbing an alternate 2 rock patches, we reach Samrad Plateau.
Further among our way to Karoli Ghat at rear we can see Ajoba Hill & Seeta Palna.

this level it takes 15 minutes to reach Samrad Village.
